Bitween AI is on the way

Manufacturing

Connect the plant floor, the ERP and every supplier in one pipeline.

Manufacturers integrate decades of systems: ERPs, MES and plant databases, supplier portals and logistics providers. Bitween bridges them with database-native adapters, message brokers and partner gateways, without replacing what already works.

The challenge

What makes manufacturing integration hard.

01

Systems from every decade

Oracle and SQL Server databases, SOAP-era XML and modern REST APIs all need to talk to each other.

02

Suppliers at every maturity level

Some suppliers have APIs, many exchange files, and a few still send email attachments.

03

Production can't pause for IT

Integrations must absorb downtime on either side and catch up without losing orders or events.

Flows you can run today

How Bitween handles it.

Each flow below uses capabilities that exist in Bitween now, with links into the documentation that describes them.

Flow 1

Purchase orders to suppliers

New purchase orders are polled from the ERP, mapped per supplier using partner properties, and delivered by API to modern suppliers or as XML files over SFTP to the rest.

  1. 1ERP polling
  2. 2Map per supplier
  3. 3REST or SFTP
  4. 4Response stored

Flow 2

Production events from the plant

Plant systems publish production and quality events to a RabbitMQ queue. A bus gateway reads the queue, deduplicates by message id and routes events by line or status to the right subscriptions.

  1. 1Customer RabbitMQ
  2. 2Dedupe by message-id
  3. 3Routes by line
  4. 4Deliver

Flow 3

Writing back to the ERP

Supplier acknowledgements and goods receipts are written into the ERP through named statements and stored procedures on a pooled connection, with every value bound as a parameter.

  1. 1Supplier ack
  2. 2Map
  3. 3Database handler · call
  4. 4Rows & timing stored
